Fully Aluminium Gate
Almost all gate manufacturers claim that their gates are made of aluminium but most of the time they might be a combination of aluminium and stainless steel. We take pride in claiming our gates are 100% aluminium.
Trackless System
The large and heavy designer gates were traditionally operated using a track and wheel system which rust over time and become jammed and squeaky. All Designer Gate's gates are lightweight and are operated by an unique arm system.
Light Weight Gates
Aluminium is only about one-third the weight of steel, which enables us to make parts that can be made thicker and stronger than steel but still lighter than steel. Depending on the aluminium alloy and processing technique materials can be built very strong.
Corrossion/Rust Free
Aluminium alloys contain almost no iron, and without iron, the metal can't rust. When the aluminium alloy is exposed to water, a film of aluminium oxide forms quickly on the surface of the gate and prevents further corrosion, and protects the underlying metal.
Durable
Our gates are naturally durable because of the aluminium used to make them. They cannot rust at any point and this combined with our superior architecture can make a gate last a lifetime. The house might be damaged over time but the gate will stand the test of time.
Epoxy Powder Coating
Epoxy is a tough and multi-purpose material consisting of the cross-linking of an epoxy resin and hardener or co-reactant. When coated with epoxy the surface becomes highly resistant to flaking, cracks, chipping, and peeling. Gate will be able to resist heat and cold better than most paints.
